Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Family Law Attorney to advise our clients on legal matters related to family law. This individual should have a thorough understanding of the legal system, be knowledgeable in all areas of family law, and be able to advise clients on their rights and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to clients on family-related matters such as divorce, adoption, child custody, prenuptial agreements, and more.
- Prepare and file legal documents in family law matters.
- Represent clients in family law court proceedings.
- Advise clients of their rights and obligations.
- Gather evidence and documents related to family law cases.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
- Advise clients on matters of procedure, evidence, and litigation strategy.
- Keep clients updated on the progress of their cases.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree or equivalent.
- Current state bar license.
- 1+ years of experience with Family Law
- CFLS is a plus
